The certificate is obtained by applying for the exam a month before and making the payment, and then with the necessary documentation in the exam center, during the exam, you take the exam in 4 parts: listening, reading, writing and interview-conversation. You can expect exam results 5-8 weeks after the exam. If you urgently need a certificate, you can submit a request for a quick issue with payment. If you have not passed one part of the exam, you can retake only that part of the exam. You can download the certificate 6 months after taking it, and after that deadline, the certificates cannot be downloaded.
How long is an ÖSD certificate valid?
In principle, ÖSD certificates have no expiration date. However, for the purpose of obtaining a visa, the competent institutions may require that the certificate not be older than a certain period of time, for example one year, depending on the level for which you hold the certificate.
How is the exam held?
